5 Lakes Resort Styled Shoot – Rustic Elegance – get hitched 2012

Hi everyone!

I hope your summer is going well! I’ve been blessed with helping out many brides in the past few months. Wedding season has been awesome – but busy! So I apologize for the lack of posts. I’m trying to get it together! 🙂

Today I’m excited to share another styled shoot I was a part of last summer that took place at 5 Lakes Resort in Vergas, Minnesota. The shoot was a part of “Get Hitched” – a wedding event for the modern bride.

5 Lakes Resort offers a very cool venue for brides looking for more of a “rustic” wedding. The barn has been restored and is absolutely gorgeous! Katie Lewis Photography did a fabulous shop capturing this shoot. Take a look:

Shotwell Floral did an amazing job with the flowers. I’m loving the succulent arrangements and the wood slab used as a table runner – so cool!

Rustic elements of wood, brass, mercury glass and hints of gold were used everywhere.

I had fun printing on wood for this shoot. The paper I used is actual birch. I love the grain and earthy look! 🙂

Gold and black shimmer card stock were other papers I used for the stationery.

This set up looks so warm and cozy…a perfect rustic wedding!
