Last week, a group of girlfriends and I went to one of my favorite events of the year in the Fargo/Moorhead area – “Bras on Broadway” at the HoDo. It’s a great event, raising money for those fighting breast cancer in the area. I’ve been attending this event for the past few years, and it grows (and raises more money!) every year. We all had fun catching up, drinking great wine and bidding on bras and artwork. I didn’t win a bra – but I did win a beautiful photo print by Meg Spielman. Super excited to put it up in our house!
Here are some fun shots from the evening!
All of the bras hanging on the building were donated by area women! You bring an old bra and $5 and they add it to their garland of bras! This year they adorned both sides of the HoDo.
Loved the program this year!
Prairie Petals created all of the mini-arrangements on the tables. Loved them! My hubby’s biz was also a sponsor π
Here are two of our favorite bras from the night! The bird was made out of feathers (each hand-painted!) and the grill was so creative & humorous! π
This group of super-talented women created bras in a “Wizard of Oz” theme! They ended up auctioning them off as a set. So fun!
Our table of friends! We had a lot of fun and our server was great to us – somehow we ended up with a bottle of wine at the end of the night! Not complaining! π
And here is the photo print I bought! Β Here is some more information on the piece:

Inspiration
I have been creating found object bras for Bras on Broadway since it started! The pieces are part of a collection of 30 images that are my interpretation of the many silly terms that are associated with breasts and bras. Look for the whole collection when it www.nolumpsthankyou.com published in a book next year! www.nolumpsthankyou.com
Such a fun evening for a great cause! π
