Here is a recent post I put up a couple of weeks ago. The bride was kind enough to share some of the images from their BEAUTIFUL wedding day – so I added a couple shots throughout the post.
I’m excited to share this fun invitation collection I created for Beth and Jason this past summer. They were married at one of my favorite hotels in downtown Minneapolis, The Graves 601. They wanted to do more of a modern invitation, and incorporate their gorgeous color scheme of eggplant purple and lime. We came up with this wedding suite that is not only modern, but has a touch of glam! 🙂 I think they go well with the Graves setting. Check them out:
Beth chose a soft white card stock with an shimmery eggplant purple backing card. We added the lime green twine for a touch of texture. I love the square shape and clean font style…everything flows really well.
We had a fun response card that included the food icons that have become a popular trend. I love the little chicken and cow. 🙂 I also love how we created somewhat of a logo for all of their materials…the Jason <3 Beth. We ran with this and added it to the return address on the back of her envelopes, as well as the RSVP envelopes. It was something we included on the program, as well as their thank you cards.

The couple wanted to make their wedding program a bit more fun and personalized. We came up with simplifying things and adding a section about the couple. I love how they turned out. We added their logo to the back.
Another fun idea the couple had were the table numbers. They were dual purpose – envelopes (in the eggplant shimmer paper) that had the table number, as well as a task for the guests. The couple had paper and pens at each table, and guests could write messages for the couple and place them in the envelope. The couple plans to open them on their anniversary date each year – according to the year on the envelope. 🙂 Such a cool idea!

We used one of the couple’s favorite images from the big day for their thank you cards. Of course we added their logo in the inside. I love how everything came together. 🙂
