mint to be – featured in spring issue of dainty obsessions!

I’m super excited to share a styled shoot I took part in which is featured in the spring issue of Dainty Obsessions! Our theme was “mint to be” and vendors in the Red River Valley combined their talents and services to create this beautiful shoot! I created a new wedding invitation suite that I’m super excited about. I also got to model the dress!! You can find the magazine in Fargo at Target  & Barnes & Noble, The Bridal shop – as well as wedding vendors’ storefronts in South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Minnesota. I’ll post more detailed images soon!

I used a soft white cotton card stock and added elements of gold and mint. This was my first invite suite to include die cutting (notice the corners of the invitation). I love this look!

I love the paper I used for the envelope liners – it contained tons of tiny gold dots that were raised off the paper. Visually interesting and I loved the texture!

Accents of gold were everywhere. I love the antique look of everything. The menus are one of the many card shapes I offer.

More die-cutting on the place cards and table number – it just adds so much! 🙂

Sadie’s Couture and Event Styling nailed it once again with all of the details – beautiful linens, china, table decor, chaivari chairs and flowers..I loved everything Sadie did! 🙂

Emily Newcomb with Adae Salon did my hair and makeup! She did my makeup on my wedding day and since then we’ve working on several projects together. She always does an amazing job!

The unique dress is from Très Chic – she always has the most amazing couture gowns – I loved this one! I love the hint of mint in the shoes as well! 🙂

The mint ring is from my own collection of jewelry. I bought it in San Diego last spring at a cute  boutique…made by hand from a local jeweler… it’s one of my favorites! 🙂

Sarah’s Sweet Boutique did a wonderful job on the cake.

A fun element of this styled shoot was the custom ice cream bar! Such a fun idea that strays from the candy bar – but still keeps it fun!

I loved creating all of the details – including the custom signage for the ice cream bar.

There are so many ways to personalize your wedding and add unique touches..I just love the mint dot back drop, La Tovola linens and gorgeous glass serving dishes.

A fun element – we added ballerinas!! 🙂 Such a fun addition and a unique part of our shoot. I can’t wait to see the video!

Please feel free to contact me using the form above if you have any questions on this wedding suite or any of the elements of this gorgeous styled shoot! 🙂
