Happy Monday everyone! I hope those in the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding area are enjoying the snow day and keeping safe! I’m enjoying a beautiful day in Whitefish, MT – my home for the next few months. The weather has been great – lot’s of sunshine and warm temperatures. I can’t wait to have some down time and get out and take some photos of the beautiful scenery!
Today I’m sharing another styled wedding from the “Get Hitched” event/project. A little background behind the images: The photos are a part of a large project I took part in this past summer. This year for the annual “Get Hitched” wedding show, we decided to shake things up a bit and do something different than the traditional wedding show. Over the summer – wedding vendors in the Red River Valley combined our talents and services and created eight styled shoots at various wedding locations in the Fargo/Moorhead and surrounding area. We created mock weddings at each site, complete with a bridal party, jewelry, flowers, table settings, wedding stationery and more! It was so amazing to see each shoot come together, and I was honored to be able to take part in each one.
Today I’m featuring the “Ombré Inspired Wedding”. I’ve been seeing ombré everywhere from hairstyles to clothes to shoes! Gotta love it! 🙂 This shoot took place at the NDSU Alumni Center in their outdoor gazebo area. The images speak for themselves – here are a few of my favorite shots:
For this wedding suite – I utilized the shimmery champagne and blush pink hues that were the color inspiration behind this shoot. The invitation was a simple layout – with a gorgeous shimmery pocket fold holder, and ribbon. I worked with the shading of the invitation to go with our ombré theme. Matching gold envelopes tied everything together.
Notice that gorgeous sequins underneath the invite? So fab! These were the “New York” La Tavola chair backs.
Yvonnne Denault did a wonderful job capturing this shoot. Her images are stunning (ahem…the fab shot below – WOW!).
Sadies Couture Floral and Event Styling did a wonderful job with the table setting, linens and flowers.
The table linen is La Tavola’s “Dupionique Iridescnce” Platinum. Lavender roses, pink anthirium, white mini calla lilies, white dendrobium orchids and white hydrangeas were the flowers Sadie used.
I love the unique engagement ring and wedding band from Wimmer’s Diamonds – gorgeous detail!
The beautiful wedding gown and bridesmaid dress was from Trés Chic. I LOVE the ombré feathers on the bottom of the BM dress. The colors are amazing and everything ties in so beautifully. The gorgeous hair and make up was done by Emily Newcomb with Adae Salon.
The khaki suits work well with this color scheme and outdoor look – The Bridal Shop provided the menswear.
I love the lavender rose petals scattered across the table as well as the mini calla lilly tucked into each napkin – along with an ombré menu and place card. 🙂
I used a shimmery quartz card stock for the paper details.
Love in the Oven did a fab job with the beautiful pink and purple hues – cake pops!
Gorgeous detail shots…I loved this shoot! It’s so pretty – an outdoor wedding with a ton of STYLE!
